Here are 10 suggestions to get you started.

1. Establish investment goals.

Understand exactly what it is you are investing for. A college fund should look very different from a retirement account. The longer in advance you can start planning for your future needs, the better chance you have to realize these goals.

Mad Men® – Mad at Today’s Advertising?

The fast-paced, evolving advertising marketplace of today has changed the way advertising agencies execute.

Gone are the days when the creative was enough of a road map for success. When you only had a few channels to advertise on or a few trade magazines to publish ads in. Back in Draper’s era, it was all about the creative. You had to stand out in the marketplace. Nowadays, you need to be more concerned with where you stand than how impressive your stance is.

A couple weeks ago, I was invited to a Google Engage Event at their headquarters in Mountain View, California held on Tuesday April 26th, 2011. The event was from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. that included several guest speakers, the infamous free Google lunch, and a great Google swag bag! There were a lot of things going on at this event, so I thought I could share them with you.

Google AgencyLand Overview (featuring Jered Klima)

On business to do beta testing for Google’s new Certification Program, the project manager for Google AgencyLand got in contact me regarding an opportunity to help promote Google AgencyLand. I jumped at the opportunity and found myself prepping for a next day meeting with Google to shoot an interview.

Google Agencyland is a website portal for medium to large advertising agencies. Filled with educational courses and a library of related documents, Google AgencyLand is a great companion to any internet marketer’s resource library. I was behind this product 100% and was actively working with the portal.

The morning was filled a review and run-down on the plan for shooting. After I received my first make-up prep before shooting, it was time to get into the interview.

I hope you enjoy the output and can get a full sense of the program. I wish I could share a video of outtakes, but there were far to many or organize and present. :)

Best regards,
Jered Klima
